The Ministry of Forests and Range, in partnership with the Invasive Plant Council of BC and the Coastal Invasive Plant Committee, is offering a one-day workshop, designed to provide participants with key identifying characteristics of local invasive plant species, as well as an overview of the IAPP database and mapping application. The workshop includes a considerable hands-on component that delivers practical experience in the use of the application - from gathering data in the field to entering this data, running extracts and reports and displaying information, both in the Data Entry and the Map Display modules.

With the release of the new IAPP, version 1.6, have come some exciting new changes and added features. Because of these enhancements it is strongly suggested that both new and existing IAPP users, receive IAPP version 1.6 training.

For more information, or for a print out of the training program, please refer to the attached 'IAPP Training Seminar Announcement'.
