Featured Mentor
In my spare time I enjoy travelling up and down the Okanagan Valley touring the numerous wineries and often enjoy a bottle or two with friends and family. Most recently I have started my own consulting company, Agri-Solutions Consulting, outside of my 9 to 5 job as Planner with the District of Lake Country. So if you need any help with land use planning within or around the ALR, obtaining farm classification, inclusion into the ALR or soil classification Please give me a call. |

Agricultural & Land Use Planner -District of Lake Consultant Development Services
Since: 2008-07-02 In my current position as a Planner, I review and comment on various land use proposals and identify potential conflicts. My role involves balancing the needs of the public, the policies of the District, the Agricultural Land Commission (ALC), and the District’s Agricultural Advisory Committee: all while adhering to the BCIA Code of ethics. In my previous position in the private sector I also was required to consider professional ethics. My early years in University then in Forestry I was heavily involved in ecosystem and soil classification. | |||
