Volunteers are integral to BCIA!

If you are interested in volunteering at a branch, committee, or provincial level please contact the BCIA head office.

Each year, over 350 BCIA registrants generously contribute their time and expertise towards the betterment of BCIA, such as volunteering on the Council, various Committees and Working Group(s), and eight different Branch Executives. In addition, the PD Audit Program and serving as mentors with the Articling Program are fantastic opportunities to give back to the Institute.

Seven Registrant Board Members, a past Chair, and four Lay Board Members volunteer their time to serve on the Council;

  • 30+ registrants and more than 20 Lay Members donate their time to serve on standing committees and working group(s);
  • 8+ registrants in each of the eight Branches volunteer to organize local professional development activities, events, and Branch AGMs;
  • 250+ registrants volunteer their time and expertise to mentor future agrology professionals in the Articling Program.

A heartfelt thank you to every registrant who has selflessly volunteered with BCIA. Your hard work and efforts are much appreciated; BCIA cannot exist without you!
