Join us for a guided walking tour along the trails of Towhee Creek, a tributary of the Tsolum River with the Tsolum River Restoration Society! This educational event delves into the Tsolum River watershed, highlighting restoration initiatives spearheaded by the Tsolum River Restoration Society. Learn about key conservation efforts, including willow staking, gravel trap rehabilitation, conifer planting, and the Tsolum Recovery Plan.

Join us for a unique professional development experience led by Syilx knowledge carrier Jasmine Peone of Wildrose Native Traditions. This two-hour session includes a plant walk along the Rotary Marsh in Kelowna's downtown. Get to know many different plants growing in this wetland area and learn about some of their edible, medicinal, and technological uses. They include a mix of Indigenous and invasive species. As we conclude the plant walk portion, we will arrive at the wooden information gazebo where Jasmine will lead us in making a miniature tule mat that participants get to take home.
