Join us for an informative session exploring how Grizzly Bear and Moose are assessed as key wildlife values under British Columbia’s Cumulative Effects Framework (CEF). This presentation will highlight the importance of understanding cumulative impacts on these species, how assessments are conducted, and how available data can support decision-making in natural resource management.
Participants will gain insight into:

- How Grizzly Bear and Moose indicators are assessed and reported under the CEF
- What data, tools, and resources are available for use in your own work
- This session is ideal for professionals in wildlife biology, forestry, environmental planning, and land/resource management who are seeking to integrate CEF wildlife data into their planning and analysis.
Presenters:
Felice Griffiths, BSc, MRM – With 20 years of experience in wildlife and environmental assessment, Felice leads the Policy and Guidance Team for the Cumulative Effects Framework in the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship.
Doug Lewis, RPF – A Landscape Ecologist with 25 years of experience in industry and government, Doug is the Forest Biodiversity Value Lead with the CEF and contributes to the evaluation of multiple forest and wildlife values.
Cameron Cosgrove, MSc – A Data Analyst with the CEF Team, Cameron works with species, land use, forestry, and climate data to deliver insights that support effective cumulative effects management.
