Nominations for Branch Executive: We are looking for nominations for Cariboo Central Interior Executive positions. Positions up for election this year at the Branch AGM include:
- Secretary
- Articling coordinator
- Professional Development Coordinator
- Treasurer
- Vice President/Incoming president
- Director South
- Director Central
- Director West
Being part of the Branch Executive is a great experience! You can learn about the business of the institute, help develop professional development activities that you are passionate about, add to your resume, and grow your professional network. Additionally, being part of the branch executive can be used for professional development hours. We encourage everyone who is interested in putting their names forward.
If you would like to nominate yourself (or someone else with their permission), please forward your nomination to William Elliott william.f.elliott@gov.bc.ca prior to Nov 13, 2024. Nominations should include the position of interest and a short bio/statement.
Please note: Nominations will only be accepted from the floor for positions that did not receive nominations prior to the AGM.

Articling Registrants Needing To Do Their Presentation
All articling Registrants that need to complete their presentation at this year’s AGM, please forward your name to Nicole Pressey at Nicole.pressey@gov.bc.ca by Nov 13, 2024. Your email should include a short presentation (1 slide) with a description of who you are, your area of interest/ practice, and your professional experience.
Please note: All those wishing to complete their oral presentation must pre-register with Nicole Pressey (and sign up when registering).

Awards Nominations
The Innovative Agrologist Award recipient will have demonstrated through their work:
Application of existing techniques or methods in new ways or to new situations;
Development of new techniques or procedures;
Innovative research (noteworthy new approach to researching a problem);
Creative or new ways to achieve engagement/cooperation in addressing a problem or
Development or achievement of a sustainable (“green”) solution where such an option has not previously been employed or has faced barriers to implementation.
The New Growth Agrologist of the Year Award is intended to promote the good spirit, enthusiasm, and camaraderie within the CCI Branch. The winner of this award will be a new PAg or TAg ( 5 years or less) or an articling registrant displaying the following: Energy and resourcefulness in work ethics
A clear understanding of Agrology
The ability to learn from the old-timers and;
The ability to school the old-timers
