NOTICE: Continuation of the 2023 Annual General Meeting and Presentation of 2022 Audited Financial Statements

Thank you for your patience in receiving the 2022 Audited Financial Statements. The 2023 BCIA AGM, which originally began on April 22, 2023 at 9:00 AM will continue on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM PST via Zoom.

The BCIA Board and staff will present the 2022 Audited Financial Statements for approval.

1. A new registration page is now open on the BCIA website under EVENTS. Please register before January 15, 2024. If registering this morning, Jan 16th, after 9:25 am please CLICK HERE for the Zoom details. An individual email will not be sent out. If previously registered and you did not receive an individual email, please check your junk folder.
2. The proposed AGM Agenda and 2022 Audited Financial Statements are also available on the AGM registration page; NEW - Draft 2023 AGM Minutes with Q&A are posted behind the log-in.
3. Zoom details will be emailed a day in advance & posted to the website on the morning of the AGM.
4. For purposes of location, the continuation of the AGM will be deemed to be held in Langford, British Columbia, the site of the BCIA head office.

In compliance with Bylaw #31, the business conducted at the annual general meeting shall include:

(b) adoption of the audited annual financial statements;
(e) any other outstanding business specified in the notice of the annual general meeting.

Note: For those who attended the April 2023 AGM in Kamloops, BC, you may claim 2 PD hours in the 2023 PD Report. If attending on January 16th 2 additional PD hours may be claimed in the 2024 PD Report.  This continuation meeting will not count towards the Articling Program.
