The City of Kamloops is hosting a private tour for BCIA members only at the Kamloops Resource Recovery Center. See waste items that are not landfilled and used for beneficial purposes off-site and get a close up look of the newly constructed lined area of the landfill and leachate collection area.

400 Owl Road (Valleyview). Check in with the person at the gate for details on where to go. We will be carpooling around the site.

PPE Requirements: Steel toed boots and high vis vest. Weather appropriate clothing.

Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the tour. These will be used by BCIA for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website, newsletters, and on social media. Should you not wish to have your photo taken and used for these purposes, please advise the photographer at the time.
