Join us for an informative and engaging tour of Beatton Hills Orchard, a local gem known for its diverse range of fruits including red currants, cherries, raspberries, saskatoons, gooseberries, and many more. This event is a fantastic opportunity to delve into the intricacies of northern fruit cultivation, understand the unique challenges faced by growers in this region, and hear firsthand about the successes and future plans of the orchard.

During the tour, you'll gain insights into the innovative techniques and practices employed to thrive in the northern climate. The orchard owners will share their experiences, discuss pest management, soil health, and the impact of local weather patterns on fruit production. You will also learn about the different varieties of fruit grown at Beatton Hills Orchard, and how they are adapted to the local environment.

Additionally, this tour offers a chance to network with fellow agrologists and horticulture enthusiasts, exchanging knowledge and experiences. Depending on the timing, you might even have the opportunity to sample some of the fruits that are ready for harvest, adding a delightful sensory experience to your visit.
