Explore Agriculture Canada Research Farm in Beaverlodge with Peace River Branch!

Join us for an exclusive tour of the Agriculture Canada Research Farm in Beaverlodge, Alberta. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore field research plots guided by one of the farm's head researchers, with potential visits to on-site labs.

Event Details:

  • Departure Locations and Times:
    • Fort St. John: Pickup at the mall at 9:00 AM, departing at 9:25 AM
    • Dawson Creek: Pickup at the mall at 10:15 AM, departing at 10:40 AM
  • Schedule: Plan for an 8-hour day, including 3 to 4 hours on-site and approximately 2 hours of travel including stops each way.
  • Included: Drinks and snacks provided on the bus. - Please advise of allergies and dietary concerns.
  • Cost: $50 per person to cover transportation costs, admission and snacks. A reminder that PD costs are tax deductible.
  • Limited Seating: Limited to the first 30 registrants who are Peace Region branch members due to limited availability.
  • Security Requirement: Attendees must fill out a security form by July 26th and send it to Adrian Renneberg at adrian@oakridgeenvironmentalengineering.com. These forms include name, date of birth, and driver's license number, as per Government of Canada regulations. Non-citizens require additional security clearance.   • Volunteer Opportunity: Articling agrologists are welcome to volunteer for roles such as arranging drinks and snacks or capturing photographs during the tour.

ATTENTION articling registrants!! The in-person event will be an excellent opportunity to network and meet with other branch registrants.
