23rd Annual Vancouver Island Feast of Fields

Join us for our 2024 Vancouver Island Feast of Fields

This year, we are very excited to host our Vancouver Island 23rd Annual Feast of Fields at Heritage Acres.

Feast of Fields is a three-hour wandering gourmet harvest festival that highlights the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and farm folks and city folks. With a wine glass and napkin in hand, you'll stroll across a field, travelling from tent to tent, listening to live music, and tasting gourmet creations from some of the Capital Region's top chefs, bakers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers and other beverage producers. Your ticket price covers all food and beverages.

Elevate your experience at Feast of Fields with our limited VIP package. VIP guests will get access to Feast 30 minutes early for their special experience, featuring a sampling of tasty bites by The Whole Beast Artisan Salumeria. Owner/Operator Cory Pelan will guide participants through the series, showcasing their traditional, artisan-cured meats from ethically raised, locally sourced heritage animals.

VIP guests also receive an exclusive gift bag, a souvenir cedar plate, a private area to gather, relax and enjoy their Feast bites, and a $75 tax receipt.

As a fundraising event, we also offer:

  • Souvenir cedar plates (for sale online in advance or $10 cash on-site while supplies last) to heighten your feasting experience
  • Raffle tickets for a chance to win fabulous foodie dream vacations.
  • A silent auction filled with wonderful prizes
  • And of course, we take donations – for which we provide a charitable tax receipt.

Heritage Acres holds a strong connection to the rich farming history of the Saanich Peninsula, reinforcing the importance of local agriculture through its amazing collection of old tractors, steam engines, farming equipment and much more. All of our food and beverage presenters donate their products and time to Feast of Fields– for which we are very grateful. Funds raised at Feast of Fields support FarmFolk CityFolk’s work to cultivate local, sustainable food systems across British Columbia. Please review all event information in the email confirmation sent to you after your tickets have been purchased.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:

We encourage Feast guests to carpool, bike or take transit. Please plan on a safe ride home.

We have an area designated for bike parking inside the gates at Heritage Acres.

Hop on our Feast bus, which will take you directly to the farm and back. Tickets must be purchased in advance, printed off, or on your mobile device, and brought with you.

  • Uptown (Saanich and Blanshard) Pickup at noon

Free parking is available onsite.

All participants 19 years and older with "adult" tickets must bring 2 pieces of valid ID to be given a wristband to identify their ability to sample alcoholic beverages. This is an all-ages event. Ticket holders under 19 will be given a water glass to sample the non-alcoholic beverages at the event. Children 5 years and under are free.

Volunteers are needed to assist with various roles both before and during the event. Opportunities include setup, cleanup, promotions, ticket taking, assisting food and beverage presenters, parking, silent auction, photography, and more.
