Speaker Bio:
Franco Lopez Campomanes is a passionate soil scientist with over five years of experience in agrology research. As an Agrologist, he has conducted agricultural land capability assessments and contributed to soil management plans for both small and large-scale projects. With a strong background in data analysis, sustainable agriculture, and fieldwork, Franco has contributed to academic publications and received awards for his work, including first prize in the FAO World Soil Day Children's Book Contest. Franco is a registered Professional Agrologist with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists and serves as a Director of the Pacific Regional Society of Soil Science.
