Speaker Bio:

Dr. Philip Garvey is a Senior Contaminated Sites Specialist with the British Columbia Government’s Crown Contaminated Sites Program (CCSP), within the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship. Philip holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science, M.Sc. in Geochemistry, and a B.Sc. (Hon) in Geology and has been working in the field of agrology for over 15 years. Philip’s expertise focused on contaminated sites and Land Reclamation and Remediation. Philip is a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA), where he currently serves on BCIA’s Credentials and Audit and Practice Review Committees.
