My name is Kevin Vaughan and I have been a member of the BCIA since 2018. I received my P.Ag designation in March 2020. I was elected as your A.Ag coordinator in October 2019 and held that postion until October 2021.
I am currently working remotely as an Contaminated Sites Service Analyst with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy in Fort St. James. I graduated from TRU in 2010 with a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Management and graduated from Selkirk College with a Technical Diploma in 2007 in Recreation, Fish and Wildlife. I started in December 2018 with the Ministry of Forest and moved to the Ministry of Environment in 2021 to take on a new challenge pursuing my passion for contaminated sites. Prior to that, I worked in Fort St. John and Alberta for approximately eight years doing contaminated site assessment, investigation and remediation, groundwater monitoring and sampling, remedial excavation programs, pipeline and road construction monitoring and drilling waste disposal.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing, camping and hunting with my son Joe, daughter Amelia and wife Rikki who loves the outdoors as much as I do. I also enjoy working on fixing or building things I need around the home.
