With approximately 14 years of combined experience in the environmental field, Nicki Veikle has gained exposure to several disciplines while working on a wide variety of projects. Through her work as an Environmental Coordinator and Scientist for regional government, consulting firms, private sector and federal government, she has extensive experience leading projects with environmental science, biological, regulatory and stakeholder engagement components, including a regional Solid Waste Management Plan, environmental monitoring programs for seven landfills, and a regional flood mapping project. Her skills and experience include environmental and biological monitoring, water quality assessments, baseline studies, environmental site assessments and remediation, hydrology, emergency response planning, data collection, analysis and reporting, project management, business development, coordination of logistics, stakeholder liaison and public engagement.
