“ Be it Resolved that the Board of BCIA recommend to the Registrants of BCIA that the firm of Padgett Business Services be appointed as the auditors of BCIA for the 2022 fiscal year.”
BCIA Booth at the Vancouver Island Agriculture Show

The Victoria and Islands Branch participated for a second time in the Island Agriculture Show (the Show).
Our registrants asked us to support this community event at our Annual General Meeting last October. The Show was held on February 3 and 4, 2023 at Duncan's Cowichan Exhibition Centre. Our neighbours this year were 4H Canada, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Evergro and the Young Agrarians.
Canadian Organic Growers envisions a regenerative and resilient organic food and farming system across Canada. Are your clients interested in cover crops? Would you like more training in cover crops to meet your clients' needs? Canadian Organic Growers is hoping to develop a training program for agrologists to help them serve this market (for organic and nonorganic producers alike). Our first step is to document the need for this service, and how it is best delivered.
